Mic uses the Web Speech API (Chrome/Edge). Signs are parametric approximations on a floating-hands avatar; real ASL needs body and face channels, which are later milestones. Click a signed word to compare it to a reference signer. Gloss engine: Passthrough (raw English), Rules (local), or Gemini (English to ASL grammar via a serverless proxy, which needs a server key).
